 Here's'
your chance to own a very, very nice condition and awesome
sounding matched pair of NS 690s Mk IIIs. IMHO, sound as
good as NS1000s and without the metallic (Be) brightness of
the latter. These are the rare mirrored release, serials 11098L & 11098R. They are very efficient and can immerse even large room with just 2 or 3 watts, great for your lil' SE valve amps. Rated 92dB 1w1m 35-20khz 8ohm, 80w max, 630 x 350 x 290mm, 3-way acoustic suspension system with a 30mm soft-dome tweeter, 52mm soft-dome midrange and a 300mm bass. All drivers are on heavy cast frames, tweets and mid level attenuators are wire-wound for long-life. Even the grills are in near mint condition, c/w badges. (flash have made grills appear grey, they are infact jet back) A highly rated classic vintage speaker otherwise not much else to say, its all on the net. Do the research if your not familiar with these, and bear in mind 25kg each (22mm thick plywood covered in real walnut veneer) make the freight exorbitant. They will be shipped in very strong sansui boxes. |
